Boost Mobile customers looking to connect to high-speed Internet are now in luck! Through the FCC’s Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) program, qualifying subscribers can sign up to receive high-speed broadband for their homes. There are different options to choose from depending on the needs of your home as well:
- The first option will allow subscribers to receive 35 GB of data each month through their smartphones. Consumers will also receive unlimited talk and text. You can purchase a new device from Boost Mobile in-store or online, or bring your own device.
- A second option through the FCC’s EBB program will provide subscribers with a mobile hotspot powered on Boost Mobile’s network. Users will receive 35 GB of data each month for only a one-time fee of $24.99. Up to 8 devices can connect simultaneously making this the perfect solution for homes with multiple users.

“The digital divide marks a major class inequity. Financial hardship should not be a barrier to connectivity, particularly given the ever-increasing role online access plays in work, school, healthcare, and overall productivity. With the Emergency Broadband Benefit program, the FCC and Congress have taken an important step to help bridge the digital divide, and we are proud to play a role in making their vision a reality,” said Stephen Stokols, the CEO of Boost Mobile.
Working towards connecting more and more Americans is always the case for wireless companies, but Boost Mobile is looking to provide an opportunity to marginalized customers. Since being purchased by DISH Network, now DISH Wireless, Boost Mobile has been adamant about taking on wireless differently than the rest of the industry. By providing consumers with important features that add value away from communication and entertainment, Boost Mobile is looking to serve customers in a different manner than other MVNOs. Boost Mobile has decided to pursue value-based areas to provide its subscribers with financial services, gambling, healthcare, and privacy.
Though it remains to be seen how Boost Mobile will provide financial services to its customer base, so far, the company has delivered on every other aspect this year. Subscribers can enjoy a safer network experience thanks to its Privacy Premium bundle. Consumers can enjoy some of the best telehealth services in the market by subscribing to the Unlimited Plus plan which also gains them access to K Health, a leader in telehealth. Recently, Boost Mobile announced that the widely-speculated collaboration with DraftKings, a top name in sports betting and fantasy, is arriving for subscribers where such activities are legal to participate in.
