How the 2020-21 NBA Season Will Work
There are going to be a few notable changes this year, including the fact that there are only 72 games as opposed to 82 games. This also means that you can expect a much more action-packed schedule with games on more of a daily schedule than a few times a week. The season is going to be split in half with the All-Star weekend being the midway point and we’re likely going to have a few delays as games move due to COVID-19 complications. The second half of the schedule will be released at a later date. Due to travel restrictions, the Toronto Raptors will be in Tampa, Florida for the time being and it remains to be seen if and when they can return north of the border. One element that will be returning from the bubble is the Play-In Tournament featuring the 7th-10th place teams of each conference respectively.
