HBO Max, the popular streaming service, is coming to DISH Network. The satellite TV giant struck a deal with WarnerMedia and it will now offer the platform to subscribers throughout the United States. Both premium channels HBO and Cinemax are also now available for customers. For a limited time, DISH Network is also offering subscribers a 10-day preview for HBO and Cinemax which runs from August 6, 2021, through August 15, 2021.
Boasting more than 13,000 hours of content, HBO Max is a direct-to-consumer streaming platform from WarnerMedia. After launching in May 2020, HBO Max has quickly become one of the most popular streaming options for homes throughout the U.S. due to its quality lineup of programming. Brands found on the platform include Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, DC, Turner Classic Movies (TCM), HBO, and more.
“When we launched HBO Max, we set out to make it available to customers everywhere they chose to access premium content, and today’s launch with DISH is a key addition to our distribution strategy for the platform,” said WarnerMedia’s Executive VP of Business and Legal Affairs, Scott Miller. “We’re excited that DISH customers can now access all that HBO Max – as well as our premium linear networks – have to offer.”
DISH Network customers who subscribe before October 27, 2021, to the HBO Max Ad Free for only $12 per month for up to 12 months. This is a discounted price compared to the normal price of $14.99 per month. The content unleashed for DISH Network customers from HBO is considerable. Viewers will gain access to the entirety of HBO’s service, original content found on HBO Max exclusively, DC superhero content, six live channels including HBO Family and HBO Signature, and thousands of shows and movies. Subscribers will also enjoy the biggest Warner Bros. blockbusters premiering on HBO Max the same day and available for viewing for 31 days after their release.
For DISH Network customers looking to subscribe to Cinemax, access is only $10 per month. This includes three live channels, Cinemax, 5-Star Max, and More Max. Viewers can enjoy thousands of programs including blockbusters, behind-the-scenes specials, original series, and a rich on-demand library.
