Boost Mobile is bringing the heat with new Carrier Crusher plans created to compete against AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Boost’s latest plans are available starting December 9th and include a new unlimited everything plan with 12GB of hotspot data and 5GB options. Customers can buy multiple months upfront for big savings, with even more savings if you pay for the longer-term up front, with 3, 6, and 12-month plans.
If you prepay for 12 months, your unlimited plan will start at $25 per month. If you’re just interested in three months, you can get service for as little as $30 per month. Boost Mobile plans come with 4G LTE coverage and 5G support if you have a 5G compatible phone. Customers have unlimited speeds until you use 35GB in one month. Plans also come with 12GB of hotspot data per month.
If you’re looking for a little less, the 5GB plan starts at just $15 per month when billed every three or six months, with a 12-month plan costing $14 per month.
Stephen Stokols, CEO of Boost Mobile, said, “Americans don’t want to pay a penny more than they have to for wireless access. Boost believes that wireless service should be affordable to all. Today, Boost’s Carrier Crusher plans offer Americans a new reality where customers can get unlimited data, voice, and text for less than 50% of what they pay on the nation’s largest carriers.”
Though Boost Mobile is new to the DISH WIreless family, it still relies on 5G coverage from other carriers similar to many other prepaid carriers. Boost currently uses T-Mobile’s network as DISH Wireless builds out its own 5G network. DISH is currently beta-testing its 5G network in Las Vegas, with plans of releasing coverage in more cities in 2022.
